JNB (Day 2)

Woke up with flu, again. Boiled the water and made myself five-roses tea. Got info that my advance will only be ready on Thursday, the day I already gone back. Wtf?!

Went to the conference by cab. Another interesting offer to go see safari, at only ZAR500. But was warned never to go alone becoz of safety reasons.

The conference was okay, but they didn't say something totally new. Chances are, everyone are rivals, and there's no freaking way they're gonna share their own success stories.

Met some Malaysians there, from EPU, MTDC, BioTech Corp and USM, and there I thought I was alone. Hanged around with them, exchanged tips, and broke fast at Ocean Bites (very very similar to Manhattan Fish Market). The conversation all circled around politics. Boring stuff. Everyone seemed to have insider info bout the politics. Yea dude, like whatever...

The shops closes at 6pm, and restaurants around 11pm. So, I went browsing for more stuff while there's time.

Then 'tapau'ed some rice and lamb curry at a Pakistani shop.

All went back to own hotel after that, skipping the Cocktail party at Sophiatown. Apparently they're not keen to join becoz there're booze and the food's not halal. So, there goes another chance for photos...
